I’m running for State Senate because I believe in the American Dream.

I was born into a world without freedom, a city and a nation cut in two: East Berlin, 1961. It was always my dream to move to America – the land of democracy, freedom and opportunity.

In America I perform research and develop diagnostics and treatments for infectious diseases at Colorado State University. In America I have my own business: Eckstein Diagnostics. In America I use my talents and skills to help others as a board member on the Larimer County Public Improvement District 24, on the Task Force for Adjunct Faculty at CSU, and as president of my homeowner’s association. In America I live the life of my childhood dreams.

To keep Colorado in the forefront of providing the American dream for every citizen, I truly believe that we the people have to be active and involved in managing the present and investing in the future. As your next State Senator from Larimer County I will make sure that your ideas are heard and respected.

A predictable and balanced budget; a world class education; a robust economy and personal freedom maintain the American Dream for all Coloradoans. As your next State Senator I will work tirelessly to balance the state budget, fully fund education that works, promote small businesses and job creation, and honor Colorado’s tradition of freedom and democracy.
